1970s - My very first experience of yoga postures and relaxation began as a child at only four years of age, when I was introduced to a mixture of corrective gymnastic and Iyengar yoga to improve my physical posture. The experience stayed with me forever, particularly the relaxations and the breathing.

 

My great enthusiasm and love for yoga rekindled in 1994 when I took up meditation practice, Metta Bhavana (loving kindness) and Vipassana, in the West better known as mindfulness, which lead me to eventually become a teacher.
